Official Announcement….Presenting Our Next Author!
We are so excited to officially announce that we have the honor of publishing “To Feed My Woodland Bones,” a chapbook by Kate Garrett, @mskateybelle. The book will be released in September, 2019.
We were immediately intrigued by this project as Garrett chatted about working on it over the past few months, and we cannot believe that we get to publish this magical, mighty book.
Garrett is an amazing poet, and she also gives back to our literary community, and the world at large, as the publisher of “Three Drops From a Cauldron,” “Picaroon Poetry,” and “Bonnie’s Crew,” which doubles as a lovely fundraising channel for Leeds Congenital Hearts and has a mission of healing spiritual and physical hearts. It’s a beautiful calling, and another reason why Animal Heart Press is so pleased to be a part of Garrett’s artistic process.
Garrett also has a poetry collection coming out with Rhythm & Bones in April called “The Saint of Milk and Flames.”
