PLEASE READ OUR SUBMISSION GUIDELINES CAREFULLY.
We are looking for full length collections of poetry.
- documents are to be formatted to A5 size
- at least 80 pages of poetry
- name your file like this: FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME_TITLE_OF_BOOK
- formats: .doc, .docx, .pdf
Although we wish it didn’t need to be said, we will not accept any work that is racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, or contains hate speech of any kind. We are committed to publishing a variety of new, emerging, and established voices. Further, we are committed to inclusion and equity in publishing. We highly encourage submissions from underrepresented voices including, but not limited to: women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent individuals. International submissions are welcome, but we are only considering work in English at this time; no translations. We do not accept poetry or art that is created using artificial intelligence (AI) in any way, and we will require you to confirm your work meets that condition.
HOW TO SUBMIT:

Attach your manuscript and a screenshot of your paid submission fee.
In the body of your email:
Bare minimum your name, pronouns and social media handles.
Beyond that, if you like, tell us a bit about yourself. You don’t have to be formal. We’re not after a masterpiece in your cover letter. But we’d love to know what makes you tick.
FAQs
Can my manuscript be previously published?
We are okay if up to 50% of the poems have been individually published before, but the manuscript as a whole must be unpublished. It’s on you as the author to make sure you have any rights to reprint.
Can I submit more than one manuscript?
Sure. Just pay your $5 fee for each one. eg 2 manuscripts = $10
When will I hear back?
We work fast. You’ll know by the end of November.
Do you take simultaneous subs?
Sure. Just let us know immediately if the work is accepted elsewhere. We won’t refund any submission fees though.
What do I get if you choose my manuscript?
We’ll work with you to edit the manuscript and make it the best it can possibly be. We’re highly collaborative. You’ll get significant input into the design of the book and its cover. We also offer 40% of the net profit on each book as part of our standard publishing contract, and the chance to buy author copies at a significant discount. Your book will be available through our website as well as other channels like Amazon and Bookshop.org.
What will you want me to do?
We expect our authors to actively participate in all aspects of editing their manuscript as well as marketing and promoting their book. The more you’re prepared to do in this area, the better the results tend to be (in our experience).
