The Merchant
Buying dreams
shredding
confetti wishes
the Merchant sells
a future
the bloom of beauty and
desire,
eternity is fire
all are lead down his path
Selling themselves easily
because of his
deceit
his darkness a retreat
no regrets
merchant calls
sing song delight
the buyers
their souls minute
left in ashes
in wake of the merchants
pursuit.
